We eagerly await the arrival of a small number of refugee families in Spring 2024. After they arrive, we will have an even better idea of their needs. Until then, we are developing plans for a summer program and coordinating with Billings’ refugee resettlement program director to help ensure a warm community welcome.
We maintain a list of volunteers to call on when the detail of needs are in better focus. If you want to come alongside our new neighbors in one or more ways, we want to get to know you. Please email info@nationstoneighborsmontana.org to join our volunteer list and/or to sign up for our newsletter for news along the way. Please note that we require any volunteers who will have contact with the newcomers to undergo background checks and participate in volunteer training opportunities.
If you have fundraising or communications skill, we could use your help even before the refugees arrive! And we invite everyone to pray for the families who will soon make Billings home.
